my handmade wedding.

11.6.10 -- ben & jordyn
my wedding was everything i wanted and more (this is also true about my husband). i envisioned: handmade, fun, whimsical, fun, vintage, sentimental, colorful, fall-ish etc! here's a glimpse of my very special day.

my "vintage" hairstyle. atleast, that's what the hairdresser said. she was so sweet.
ben & i wrote each other letters the day of the wedding. you may not be able to tell, but i am so crying in this picture.

i love these shoes! i still wear them!

my best friend brought the orange juice & champagne. this picture really captures the moment. love her!

random picture. i picked it because you can see my wonderful bridesmaids fluffing the poms that were hung in the tree.
putting on my sash. by the way, that's my thrift store wedding dress. $60 in all it's glory. seriously, its the only dress i tried on. it was meant to be.
our "first look" picture. ben's first word? "WOW!"

my favorite wedding craft!

thank goodness for a great hayfield across the street because i love these pictures.

all my favorite colors.

brotherly love.
the best bridesmaids ever. aren't they adorable?
handsome young men, right?
my poms! thank you groomsmen for hanging them up!

it was so cold for early november. these quilts were certainly used. the one on top was made by my great-grandmother a long time ago. it's a wedding ring quilt. get it?

reserved seating. for the vip i suppose.

ben's brothers & our friend trent did the music. it was so beautiful. not that i heard it, i was in a fog. but everyone told me it was beautiful.
my dad is trying so hard to hold it together right here.

ben's favorite picture.
no, that candle did not light. we just laughed.
yellow leaves? picked by my sweet husband & his groomsmen the day before the wedding at chik-fil-a. precious.

my dad did all of our food. he's amazing.
favors!

it's official, mr. and MRS. kerr!
my dad opening our toasting wine, that my brother made. it was so delicious. peach-raspberry!
great idea put into action by my mother-in-law!
why yes, we are doing the thriller dance.

our dessert table. all of childhood favorites. i am just not a wedding cake kind of girl.

tables! amazing people set these up for me the day of the wedding. what would i have done without them?

mmm, delicious bottled drinks. i still have all the bottle caps.
a lot of dancing took place.

my best friend from a long, long time ago came! i was so happy to see her!
our good friend trent, he was the best d.j.

driving away in my sweet, sweet godparents' car. it's special because my brother left his wedding in their other antique car. :)
