hello, blogworld!

i feel like i like i abandoned my post in world of blogging. you know, sometimes life happens and it never gets blogged about. probably because i'm a real life person with things to do, people to see, and places to go. i make it sound so exciting, don't i? well, keep dreaming.

in the world of kerr here is a snippet of what's been happening.

1. schooooools out! but i'm still working. my school does "summer camp" so i work through the summer {minus a few holidays off and a summer vacay}. it's good thing, though. it's very laid back and a lot of fun. this week: we went to the zoo, had a hamburger cook-out, and toured the atlanta botanical gardens -- fun, but slightly exhausting. next week: world of coke. goal: caff-up and sugar-up more than the kids. i can do it!

 

2. we're still eating at the food truck park a lot & loving it! we ate there twice last weekend. we may have a slight addiction to fast, easy, cheap, gourmet food. no shame.

3. walks in the park! ben and i have spent the last few evenings walking a couple miles around our favorite park. tonight, we had a fancy subway sammie picnic and then walked. it's a nice little, rolly hill park for walking. sometimes we walk and chat up a storm. sometime we walk in silence. i told ben i could never have a bff-walking-partner because i don't have enough words for two-miles. i like quiet walking and i'm not a small talker. ben's the same way and the perfect walking partner for me.

4. i'm doing quite a few photoshoots lately! i could write a whole post about how i psyched myself out about shooting a seven person family only to realize they were the easiest-to-capture family ever. easy to pose & very photogenic. plus, we did engagements with a cute couple that we're friends with. yay, pictures!
